| There are currently 58 cases of active coronavirus in the municipality, which has led to the Health Center being in an orange situation | "It is very serious that people fail to comply with the quarantine period for Covid-19.
We must all be responsible for this pandemic and even more that group, which is potentially dangerous," says the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Joaquín Vela Fernández , who yesterday chaired an extraordinary meeting of the local security coordination table.
It was also attended by the Councilor for Citizen Security, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo, along with those responsible for the Civil Guard and Local Police. At this meeting, an assessment of the COVID situation in the municipality was carried out.
"We currently have 58 active coronavirus cases in our municipality, which has led to the Health Center being in an orange situation," reports Mayor Torreño, who stresses the need to comply with basic safety standards (interpersonal distance, use mask and permanent hand hygiene).
Also remember that precautions must be taken in the private sphere, since most infections in Las Torres de Cotillas are occurring in family gatherings.
