| The Torreño City Council places more than 900 stickers to remind users of the destinations of each waste | The Department of the Environment and Services of Las Torres de Cotillas have placed more than 900 stickers on the containers installed on the public thoroughfare of the municipality to remind users of the destination of each waste.

"His messages inform that the gray lid container is used for organic matter and waste, while all plastics, cans and bricks must go to the yellow lid container, and the paper and cardboard to the blue lid container", indicates the councilor of the Environment, Antonio Contreras Martínez. These stickers also inform the customer service telephone number (968.387.290) to consult the calendar to remove furniture and appliances, data on the impact of recycling on climate change and pollution, and that the fine for the improper use of the containers can reach up to 750 euros.

"In addition, these vinyls incorporate a QR code so that the citizen can report some type of incident of the service through the WhatsApp mobile messaging service," indicates the Councilor for Services and First Deputy Mayor, Marian Fernández Fernández. This action is carried out by the concessionary company of the municipal solid urban waste collection and street cleaning service, and is part of a recycling promotion and information campaign carried out in the municipality.
