| The main objective is to avoid the typical crowds of this date to avoid the spread of COVID-19 | The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has developed an anti-COVID security protocol to organize visits by residents to the municipal cemetery on the occasion of All Saints' Day.
"First of all, we recommend that these visits be made in a staggered manner throughout the week or even during the weekend, which is also a bridge," says Torreño mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who informs that the hours of these facilities will be all days from 8 to 19 hours. On October 30 and November 1 there will be capacity control (the maximum is 2,500 people) and when it is fulfilled, the entry of more people will not be allowed.
"Between Monday, October 26 and Monday, November 2, a special free bus service will be set up that will reach the cemetery," the first mayor said.
Facilities where, as is the norm, it will be mandatory to use a mask at all times, maintain an interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters and the use of hydro-alcoholic gel that will be available at the entrance and exit, and in the toilets. Only one person may stay inside the pantheons, except in the case of cohabitants; the elderly and people with pathologies should avoid the days and hours of maximum influx; and it is requested not to leave containers with water to avoid the proliferation of the tiger mosquito and the diseases associated with its presence.
Gatherings of more than 6 people, eating and smoking on the premises, physical contact (hugs, kisses, handshakes ...) will also be prohibited. Recommendations for florists As for the florist service, it is recommended to collect the flowers for the deceased between Wednesday, October 28 and Friday, October 30 and that a single person does it, respecting the capacity of the establishments.
"It is also remembered that shipping services will not be carried out on these dates," says the Councilor for Commerce and First Deputy Mayor, Marian Fernández Fernández.
