This field is also seeing its performance improved with the works already underway to build a changing room-stands with 342'24 m2 for changing rooms -three for athletes and two for referees-, warehouses and public toilets.

"We have been without these facilities for years and it is urgent to provide a quality service to the thousands of users it receives each year," says the mayor, who reports that the metal stands have also been renovated.
Other novelties These tasks are part of the project to improve the municipal sports facilities, which has a municipal investment of almost 976,000 euros and which will also involve the construction of a perimeter closed roller hockey rink, whose field The game will have a surface area of ??44.22 meters.
"This sport is booming in our municipality, thanks especially to the work carried out by the Roller Queen club among the youngest," says the mayor of the area.
Archery is another discipline with deep roots in Las Torres de Cotillas, for which its athletes will have a new field where they can shoot from a distance of up to 90 meters thanks to its large dimensions (106 meters long by 15 meters wide).
The culmination of this project is the creation of a 900.00 m2 street workout-calisthenics park.
"These are sports that combine basic physical exercises in which one's own weight is used with acrobatic exercises, characteristics that make it very attractive to young people," reports the mayor.
"All the new facilities will be adapted to people with reduced mobility and will have their own lighting, and to provide them with electricity supply, the installation of solar panels has also been planned," says the Town Planning Councilor.
