December 17, 2020- The president of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation, Mario Urrea, is accompanied by the Water Commissioner, Javier García Garay, they have held a working meeting with the Mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Joaqu n Vela accompanied by the Councilor for Urbanism, Francisco Fern ndez.
The mayor was interested in knowing first-hand the processing of administrative files that affect his municipality, especially those related to the Storm Tank, which is very necessary to avoid and solve the environmental problems that cause spills in rainy episodes to the course of the Segura river through the municipal rainwater network.
He has also been interested in cleaning the riverbed and streams.
The president has explained the administrative situation of the Storm Tank, informing him that the process will be completed in the near future, so the doubts that arise from the Consistory will be cleared up.
