| In collaboration with the AMPA, funds have been collected for this initiative focused on providing special support to people affected by the pandemic | The schoolchildren of the CEIP "San Jos " of Las Torres de Cotillas have collaborated in the solidarity campaign "Responde" of the Spanish Red Cross, for which they have raised about 1,500 euros.
This educational center, together with its AMPA, each year collaborates with a charitable association and this year the chosen one has been the Red Cross.
After making the collection, a few days ago the students and the director delivered the proceeds to volunteers from this entity.
"Participating in this campaign is one more way that the educational community has to make a better Christmas for everyone", highlights the Councilor for Education, Rafael Mart nez Garc a, who highlights that "it is very important to instill from small values ??such as being in solidarity ".
The "Responde" plan of the Spanish Red Cross began last March and with it this organization is providing extra support to people especially affected by the pandemic, offering a comprehensive response in all its areas of action.
