The Civil Guard has developed over the last month the operation "BAKER" that has led to the arrest of three people, including one minor, who allegedly runs two production sites and distribution of marijuana in Las Torres de Cotillas, supplying small retailers and ordinary consumers in the area.
The two entries and registration carried out in the town have seized 340 marijuana plants, all the elements needed to produce hashish and cash.
This action is framed within the prevention services of public safety that the Guardia Civil de Murcia has enabled the detection and eradication of drug trafficking, point of sale and distribution of narcotics.
The investigation began earlier this month when Civil Guard officers, were aware of the existence of a potential point of production, preparation and distribution of narcotics in the town of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Following preliminary investigations, the Civil Guard was able to verify the existence of this drug production installed in a shop in the town, starting then a discrete surveillance device in order to collect all information possible about the people who were behind this illegal activity.
The result of this device and once obtained all necessary evidence, in recent days, has developed the operational phase of the operation, making two house searches where they have dismantled two clandestine greenhouses consist of all the elements necessary to produce Marijuana, also seizing a large number of plants of this substance, presented in various stages of production, hashish and cash, in addition to the arrest of three people involved in this illegal activity.

JCC, Spanish, 36, resident of The Towers of Cotillas.
JGD, Spanish, 35 years and resident of Las Torres de Cotillas.

340 plants of cannabis sativa marijuana, with high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), presented in various stages of production.
50 grams of hashish.
Seized property
All the elements needed to carry out the production and care of marijuana, as there are light, heat, ventilation, irrigation and growth (pesticides, fertilizers).

Those arrested, drugs and cash seized and police inquiries have been instructed available to the Court of Instruction Number Six of Molina de Segura (Murcia) Murcia Juvenile Prosecutor.
