On Saturday February 20 was held at the Municipal Sports Center Towers Cotillas the end of the "Regional Program Sport School Age" in their mode of badminton in the categories juvenile, infant, cadet and youth.
A championship organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the collaboration of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Torrena which brought together the best players from all schools of Murcia territory.
Local representatives signed a great performance, up to several podiums: José Mª Turpin (IES "La Frorida") and Ivan Egidos (school "Susarte") were individual champions in cadet and youth respectively Mª Nieves Brao (IES "Salvador Sandoval" ) and Elizabeth Brao (school "Susarte") also gold hung on youth and children individually, and Carmen Vidal and Maria Hernandez (IES "Salvador Sandoval") were runners-up in women's doubles at junior.

In addition, the three schools participating Towers Cotillas champions in 4 of the 8 possible categories: IES "Salvador Sandoval" in female youth, school "Susarte" in female children and young men, and IES "La Florida "in male cadet.
The awards ceremony was conducted by the Councillor for Local Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, and the head of the Sports Services of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Eduardo Segarra.
