That is the date set for the celebration from 10:30 hours of the 31st edition of the school cross Las Torres de Cotillas, organized once again by the Department of Physical Education and Local Sports in collaboration with the Directorate General of Sports of the Government regional and Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU).
"If last year we touch the 1,000 participants from eleven schools in this edition do not expect less because each year the centers are turning to the cross," says the mayor of the area, Ginés Pérez Iniesta, which states that "is grateful for the participation of both schoolchildren and teachers. "
With three circuits enabled (500, 1,000 and 2,000 meters), the event will be held in various categories according to age (baby, juvenile, infant, cadet and youth), both male and female form.
The top three finishers in each will receive his medal, and each school will receive a trophy.
"But the spirit of this event will be the participation, because it is important to teach our young from school the positive values ​​of sport", stresses Pérez Iniesta.
