The Department of Citizenship Las Torres de Cotillas has organized the "I Cooking Contest Torres-Chef", an event designed for children aged 9 to 11 years whose final on Wednesday 24 August (21 hours) will be held in the Municipal auditorium "John Bath" in the framework of the Festivities 2016. a contest was presented on Monday 11 April by the councilman, Amalia Perez, the young chef Joaquín Torreño Conesa (chef of the restaurant "by Inheritance") and Juan Antonio Garcia, president of the "Cultural Association of Chefs and Cooks Murcia" (Jecomur).
Participants, who must be resident in the municipality, may submit their applications before 29 April in the Register of the City Torreño and it must submit an original recipe (the creation will be marked, innovation and presentation) and a general recipe that will pottage cod.
Final Round with 8 contestants
Of all the papers and following the established criteria will be a first selection of 30 contestants, among which will be re-screened (assessing their knowledge of the world of cooking and after meeting with the president of the jury) to finally be 8 participants in the final round.
