The City of Las Torres de Cotillas develop a new program of local public youth employment guarantee, which has employees in various positions in the local administration to a total of 6 young as administrative assistants.
This initiative is funded with 60,000 euros by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) of the regional government and funded by the European Social Fund in collaboration with the City of Las Torres de Cotillas.
These young people which were unemployed and are beneficiaries of the "National System of Youth Guarantee" - will work for 6 months in the negotiated Secretariat, Social Services, Statistics, Planning, General Registry and local police with the aim of this program : improve and streamline the services provided to citizens through document management, scanning and organization of municipal archives and classification.
"These programs are designed to provide work experience to unemployed workers, improving their employability," says Councilwoman Employment, Maria Isabel Zapata.
