Second five officers and two officers mason second painting buildings were unemployed have begun working in the City of Las Torres de Cotillas thanks to a local public employment program.
Under the heading "Repair, preservation and maintenance," this initiative is subsidized with 86,000 euros by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) of the regional government and funded by the European Social Fund in collaboration with the local council.
This working relationship will last six months and the work of workers in the negotiated Works and Services will be to improve the municipal powers -within the various public roads, municipal offices and public schools through small repairs of civil works, as well as conservation of urban furniture.
"These programs seek to acquire work experience and improve employability of unemployed workers," says Councilwoman Employment, Maria Isabel Zapata, who visited these municipal employees in different jobs last week.
