The hall of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has hosted on Tuesday morning 21 June the closing ceremony of the literacy course taught by "Abraham Project" during the months of May and June in the House of Culture " Pedro Serna ".
With the collaboration of the Department of Social Services of the municipality, 60 teaching hours, free tuition and three days of class per week, this course aimed to improve employability and facilitate access to the labor market of the 11 residents of the participating municipality.
Diplomas to students who have completed the classes have been delivered by the Director of Municipal Social Services Center, Agueda Sanchez and educator "Project Abraham", Toni Villarino.
Very close collaboration
Completion of this course is part of the collaboration agreement for collecting clothes, footwear and toys established between the Torreño and "Project Abraham".
And this entity is collecting clothes, shoes and toys in the municipality, for what you have installed nearly 20 containers at street level, of which in 2015 withdrew some 40,000 kilos of this residue, that citizens deposited for very different reasons: seasonal change, damage by use, change the size, cleaning closets, etc.
