Torreño athletes Sergio Jornet and Angel Salinas continue their season, looking for new medals to add to his resume, and this weekend will contest the championships in Spain in their respective categories.
Jornet will in the "XXXI Championship of Spain Promise", which houses the School of Physical Education of Toledo.
More than five hundred athletes from 143 clubs across Spain will participate in this competition that will feature the best national promises, as some European champions U23, junior and in the recently held Promises Mediterranean.
Meanwhile, Salinas played in Elche Spain Championship for the category of veterans, held on Friday June 24 to Sunday 26 at the municipal track "Manolo Jaén".
About a thousand athletes will participate in this competition now in its 51st edition and has become a benchmark for Spanish athletes between 35 and 90 years despite age, still they do not want to say goodbye to the competition.
