The 15 young people participating in Cotillas Towers in the mixed employment and training program for young people in the specialty surface cleaning and furniture in buildings and premises are already in practice.
This initiative of the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) is funded by the European Social Fund in collaboration with the local council and lasts a total of 9 months.
Participants received during the first three months in the Social Center of Media Legua theoretical / practical training after passing this period have been engaged in training by the council, which has for this program with a grant of 116,000 euros.
"They are learning the cleaning and maintenance of the course, selecting the techniques, tools, products and machines to ensure sanitation, conservation and maintenance of buildings and premises, and complying with the rules on safety and health," says councilor Employment, Maria Isabel Zapata, who recently visited with her colleague Citizen Participation, Amalia Perez.
Upon completion of this program the national system of youth guarantee participants will receive their certificates of professionalism that endorse their qualification for this type of work.
"These programs seek employment for unemployed workers in alternation with work," Zapata said.
