The Department of Physical Activity and Sports Cotillas Towers scheduled for the next 9 and 10 November (from 19 to 22 hours) a new course on prevention of sudden death with use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
A completely free activity that will be given by the Civil Protection services in the Municipal Sports Centre and will be completed with CPR training.
"After the course recently conducted for the Council staff own it now monitors sporting associations and schools in the municipality, which receive their diploma is going," said Councilman area, Ginés Pérez Iniesta.
The municipality already has four of these devices following the latest acquisition made last August: two are installed at the Municipal Sports and the sports center "Sport Group Las Torres" and other two hold the local body Civil Protection , which moved to all events organized in the town.
"With the introduction of defibrillators and training courses try to prevent and avoid sudden death among our athletes, a reality that unfortunately happens," says Perez Iniesta.
