The "Literary Association Towers" held on the evening of Friday October 21 the "Floral Games 2016" in the municipality, which took place in the House of "Pedro Serna" Culture Cotillas Towers.
This edition, whose introduction was made by Torreño poet Salvador Sandoval, surrendered three tributes: the local amateur theater group "Tejuba" on its 50th anniversary;
the image of the Virgen de la Salceda, who turns 75;
and the own municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas, as this 2016 celebrates a century under its current name.
Torreño Mayor Domingo Coronado exercised maintainer of these "Floral Games" during the recital of poems by members of the "Literary Association Towers" in honor of the honorees, who were represented on stage by two people succeeded each one.
A poetry competition was held for the first time in the town in 1968 and this year featured a large attendance.
