Christmas is already in Las Torres de Cotillas.
Celebrations for which the Council of Festivals has scheduled a wide range of activities, which began Friday, December 2 with the official act of lighting up Christmas lights in Adolfo Suarez Square.
With the assistance of the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and the Councilor of Festivities, Amalia Perez, the numerous public chanted the countdown projected on the façade of the City Hall that gave way to the lighting of the great Christmas tree that presides over this square and Gives light - together with the lights of the main streets of the municipality - to the nights of these holidays.
Then followed the artistic performances of the associations "Kimera" and "Brodguay", the rock "20 de Copas" and the "Dance Academy of Carmen Romero and Victor Campos".
In this event, which included the Children's and Youth Queens of the Fiestas Patronales 2016, diplomas were also awarded to the clubs and groups for their participation in the Cabalgata de Reyes.
As a colophon, the children could be photographed before a large snowball with their beloved characters Elsa and Olaf (from the popular children's film "Frozen").
