Christmas continues its course in Las Torres de Cotillas and within the programming of the Council of Celebrations today Sunday 11 December has been a very active day.
On the one hand, the Solidarity event "Patinando por Yerai" organized by the "Roller Queen" club and the Department of Physical Activity and Sports for the benefit of a child with leukemia has been held throughout the day.
"We are very happy because it has managed to raise some 5,000 euros", explains the mayor Ginés Pérez, who has attended the mayor, Domingo Coronado, to hand over the check to Yerai's parents.
With a symbolic contribution of three euros the attendees have had access to the different activities carried out: masterclass of hockey line (taught by Verónica Férez, captain of the Spanish team 2005), speed (Africa Méndez and Luis Egea), freestyle (Sliders) And zumba (Viqui Zambrano), a dance exhibition by the "Ana Belén Ruiz Dance Academy", the performance of the saxophonist Juan Barres, inflatables, animation and much more.
A day that has also had the traditional "Encuentro de Cuadrillas José López Asensio", which has celebrated its 23rd edition in the esplanade Maestro D ° Ángel Palazón organized by the ethnographic group "Vergel de Murcia".
In it have participated the groups of Patiño, Tallante, Isla Plana, Paretón de Totana, Hogar de los Mayores Torreño, Troveros de la Huerta and the host group itself.
The attendees have been able to enjoy both the traditional dances and songs that have staged the participants as a good broth with balls.
A mass in the Church of Our Lady of the Salceda and the children's work "The Chipideños" in the House of the Culture in charge of the association "Stravadanza" have been the cherries to this Christmas day.
More activities
For Thursday, December 15, two events have been scheduled at the Casa de la Cultura "Pedro Serna".
