The students of the higher education cycle of Higher Technician in Animation of Physical and Sports Activities (TAFAD) of the IES "Salvador Sandoval" of Las Torres de Cotillas held last Monday 12 December a practice with users of the center that the Association of Families and Mental Illnesses of Murcia (AFES) has in the municipality.
With the "Onofre Fernández Verdú" soccer field of the Municipal Sports Center as a stage, they took advantage of the good weather that prevailed in the day and organized various activities.
"There were musical games, group, animation, mime, bowling ...", explains Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera, who wanted to convey "the appreciation of the association to students for such a well organized and interesting initiative."
"So positive was the experience for both parties that this next Monday morning repeat," said Cabrera, who wanted to greet in person the protagonists of this exercise accompanied by his colleague Citizen Participation, Amalia Perez.
This cycle has about 2,000 hours of training that offers one step closer to the working world, since this degree provides great possibilities of obtaining a stable job within the area of ​​physical activity and sport.
"Their graduates will be able to occupy positions related to a great variety of physical-sport activities, such as the monitor, promoter, animator or coordinator in companies, clubs, associations, boards, etc.", says the mayor.
