On Friday, January 27, the Las Torres Literary Association celebrated another year, in collaboration with the City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas through its Department of Education, the traditional "Homenaje al maestro".
It was in the House of Culture "Pedro Serna", in an act in which also the local theater group "Tejuba" played its part with the performance of its small members, the "tejubines".
The honorees, teachers recently retired, received a commemorative present of the event and are: Rosalía Bermúdez (school "Divino Maestro"), José Dólera (school "Valentín Buendía"), and Marisol Martínez and Francisco Valero ("Cervantes" school) .
Another honoree of this edition was María Soledad Abad (IES "La Florida"), but could not attend the act because of a personal problem.
The evening was attended by the mayor, Domingo Coronado, the edil of Education, Pedro Cabrera, and the president of the host association, Salvador Sandoval.
In addition, the popular Murcia pánchista Fernando González Marquina, "Nando Er Tristán" offered to the public present a sample of its literary creativity.
