- The Department of Physical Activity and Sports, in collaboration with the local Civil Protection body, has organized a new free course of prevention of sudden death using semi-automatic external defibrillator (DESA).
It will be held next Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February in the training classroom Civil Protection has on Ecuador street and has a total of 12 places.
"We have made an effort to facilitate this training to those who can not do it during weekdays," explains the councilor of the area, Ginés Pérez, who points out that the course has 12 hours to be held both days from 8 to 14 hours.
"This is the third course we conducted, after the one given to the City's own staff and the one that went to sports monitors of associations and schools in the municipality," notes the mayor.
Those interested in participating can send an email to the address jose.garcia@lastorresdecotillas.es, specifying their name and surnames and providing an image of their ID.
"The places will be assigned following a rigorous order of registration and upon completing the training the students will receive their corresponding official certificate," Perez said.
