A workshop organized by the association "Columbares" on the specialty plumbing operations and heating-domestic air conditioning forms in Torres de Cotillas to 15 students.
This initiative, which was part of the project "Get in the way of Vega Media del Segura" was visited last Friday, February 17 by the Councilor for Social Services, Mª Dolores Sánchez, and the director of the municipal department of Social Services, Águeda Sánchez, along with municipal technical staff and those responsible for this "Columbares" program.
This training workshop, which is held in the morning at the Municipal Training and Employment Center "La Pilica", has a certification of 480 hours and began on 23 January.
In mid-May, the theoretical training will be completed and its members will begin 80 hours of practical work in companies until the end of June.
This project, which has the collaboration of Torreño Town Hall and is funded by the Instituto Murciano Acción Social (IMAS) and the European Social Fund, aims to facilitate access to the world of work for people over 25 years of age at risk of social exclusion in the region Of Vega Media del Segura.
"The enrollment of the students has been free and more than 50% of the participants are residents of Las Torres de Cotillas", says the mayor Torreña.
