The House of Culture "Pedro Serna" of Las Torres de Cotillas hosted last Friday February 24 the presentation of a new work by the poetess Katy Cano.
It is the book "A river of love", in which the alguaceña presents mainly poems about his family, about the orchard of La Loma Torreña where he lived and about his native town.
The act of presentation was the responsibility of the "Las Torres Literary Association" and as an aperitif to the presentation members of this entity recited love poems by well-known authors, such as Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer or Pablo Neruda, and the panochista recited a creation of his own In the history of Romeo and Juliet.
The evening was presided over by the author herself, the councilor for Urbanism, Housing and Architecture, Isabel María Zapata, PhD and professor María Ángeles Moragues, and the president of the association, the popular local poet Salvador Sandoval. Were distributed among the attendees free copies of the new work of Cano.
