The university students of Las Torres de Cotillas will count on next Monday March 6 with a free public bus service that will connect the municipality with the University of Murcia (UMU) - both Espinardo and La Merced campus - and the University Catholic San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM).
"It is for students enrolled in these educational centers and so we covered a need that we have been working for a long time and that we have finally managed to cover it," said Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado.
The route will be back and forth between 8 and 21 hours, with stops of origin and destination located in the Torreño neighborhood of La Florida and in the Plaza Circular in Murcia.
In Las Torres de Cotillas there will be several stops (La Florida, Calle Mayor, Paseo Fernández Jara, Pulpites avenue, urbanizations, Media Legua avenue), while in the municipality of Murcia there will be three: UCAM, Espinardo campus The UMU and the mentioned Circular Square.
Those interested in enjoying this service must present this week a photo of the license and the receipt of university tuition in the Department of Education from 8 to 14 hours.
"In case you can not go personally, you can do it with anyone with the ID and authorization of the student," explains Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera.
