Next Saturday April 8 Las Torres de Cotillas will return to its traditional meeting with the 'Tamborada Torreña', which as every year takes place at the dawn of Holy Week of the municipality.
Participants will be mentioned at 6 pm on the esplanade of the old Town Hall to begin this festive day, which will be extended until the body holds.
After meeting at the meeting point, the drummers will proceed to cover a tour through the streets of the municipality by playing the drum freely and will arrive at the municipal auditorium 'Juan Baño', where the 'Drum Festival' will be held.
There the organization will give attendees numerous gifts donated by the collaborating companies and in the rest will be drawn a drum and several lots also donated.
This traditional meeting of Holy Week Torreña was presented last Monday, March 27 in the Plenary Hall of Torreño Town Hall by the Councilor for Culture of Cotillas Towers, Pedro Cabrera, and members of the association 'Tamborada Torreña'.
"We invite all drummers to participate in this already popular event, which attracts people from other municipalities and even bordering regions, who join together for their love of this instrument," says Cabrera.
