After eight intense days of walking, the members of the "Los Peregrinos" hiking association of Las Torres de Cotillas have completed the route of the Caravaca Cross Road, now that the Jubilee Year is celebrated in 2017. After starting their route in the locality Of Orihuela (Alicante) about two months ago the more than fifty hundred Torreños participants concluded this past weekend this route that has had its end in Caravaca de la Cruz.
One last day in which the Torreños had the honor to take the Cross from the Parish of San Salvador to the Basilica of Carava.
This is the second time that this association, which has been doing routes for the whole region of Murcia for 8 years, makes this itinerary.
Since its birth back in 2010, this association carries out periodic departures both in Murcia and neighboring areas.
From the Camino de Santiago to routes through the mountain ranges, Andalusian, Galician, Asturian, La Mancha or Aragonese.
That is the rich and intense balance that offers this group integrated today to more than sixty neighbors of all class and age of Las Torres de Cotillas.
