The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has held the first workshops framed in the European project "DO-U-SPORT" of the Erasmus + program, whose main objective is to explore the role of local authorities in promoting sport as an activity for all, Free of barriers.
With the participation of local agents and representatives of different sports, social and cultural associations of the municipality these meetings took place on June 14 and 15, and were attended by Mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and the Councilor of Youth, Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
In this project, which began last January and lasts until December 2018, Las Torres de Cotillas participates in collaboration with the municipalities of Tábua (Portugal) and Mielec (Poland).
With a budget of almost 31,500 euros for the Torreño municipality, this project is subsidized by almost 75% by the European Commission.
