The municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas showed on Sunday 25 June once again its marked solidarity, welcoming a charitable day to collaborate with 'El camino de Rubén'.
He is a 5-year-old Murcia boy who suffers from spastic paraparesis, a rare disease that prevents him from walking, and is also suffering from severe bilateral hearing loss and secondary autism spectrum disorder.
With the objective of raising funds for the small Rubén in the morning the Municipal Sports Center was the scene of a solidarity exhibition of rhythmic gymnastics, organized by the 'Las Torres' Rhythmic Club.
An appointment that was completed with activities of animation and mats for children.
Already in the afternoon the participants in this day enjoyed the animation of 'Brodguay Performing Arts', a masterclass of the local group 'Kimera', of mats, drawings, etc.
An initiative in which the Department of Physical Activity and Sports collaborated, and which collected the donations of solidarity of the attendees, which will be used to pay for the treatments that Rubén needs.
