The Patron Saint's Festivities 2017 in the San Pedro neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas continue their course.
On Saturday, July 1st, the activities began with the 'X Lunch Bike', at the conclusion of which the children enjoyed free mats on a day in which the XI Youth Futsal Championship started.
At night, the 'Noche de la Cultura Torreña' took place, which offered the performance of the Las Torres de Cotillas Music Band and the 'Rincón Pulpitero' rock, which contributed to its group 'Alameda del Rincón' and the rhythms Latinos and carnavaleros of his comparsa 'Timanfaya'.
To conclude the celebrations Sunday 2 of July to the first thing of the morning a parade is celebrated by the neighborhood, with visit included to the neighbors with the music band 'The Levantinos'.
In the middle of the morning a Mass will be celebrated (11 hours), followed by the fun pasacalles.
As a culmination of the activities at 9 pm will depart from the Hermitage of San Pedro the traditional procession-pilgrimage with the image of the patron, presided by the mayor Torreño, Domingo Coronado, and at the end will launch a spectacular fireworks castle in charge of The firework from Alicante 'Focs i Artifici'.

Some festivities that were officially opened by the proclamation of Carmen Martinez on the night of Friday, June 30.
After enjoying this week of the 'Day of Huertano', the 'VI Meeting of Auroros' and a Eucharist, the discourse of this beloved neighbor initiated these festivities, in an evening where, as is tradition, attendees enjoyed a multitudinous Sardined to the 'style of San Pedro' and a verbena that this time was enlivened by the 'Duo Jema'.
