The 2017 Patronage Festivities of Las Torres de Cotillas have already been completed.
After the traditional act of Burning the Raspajo celebrated last Sunday 27 August, there was still an appointment to put its end point.
And this took place on Saturday, September 2: the pilgrimage of the Virgin of the Salceda, which took place in the afternoon and in which the faithful fulfilled the tradition and accompanied the image of the patroness to the temple of the one who left on Saturday August 19: the Ermita del Coto.
The pilgrimage began after the mass which was celebrated in the Church of Our Lady of the Salceda and that was officiated by its titular parish priest, Ismael Sánchez.
"It is a parade in which the Torreños and Torreñas participate with much affection, to accompany our patroness and to show her the affection and the devotion that we have to him," says the Councilor of Festivities, Amalia Pérez.
