The Confraternity of the Holy Woman Veronica and Holy Christ of the Fall of the Cotillas Towers will conclude the celebration of the 50th anniversary of its foundation with an extraordinary procession.
It will be next Saturday, October 7 (19:30 hours) and the parade, which will depart from the Church of Our Lady of La Salceda, will feature the image of the Brotherhood: Holy Woman Veronica.
At its conclusion will be an emotional encounter between the Veronica and the Holy Christ of the Fall that will end with a castle of fireworks.
The events, which began last February, commemorate the half-century of history (1967-2017) of this passionate grouping of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Among the activities are the opening ceremony of the celebrations, including the edition of a book that includes these 50 years, a tribute organized by the 'Literary Association Las Torres de Cotillas', a trip to Malaga and Rome (where Torreños participated in an audience with the Holy Father), an exhibition of images, tunics, banners, etc.
