The second edition of the project 'Counting and talking I will coeducando' has already begun in the schools of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Once again organized by the Department of Equality, it is aimed at students from 1st grade to 6th grade and makes them participants in gender equality coeducational sessions.
In these activities the contents are adapted to each of the ages of the students and are held sessions of games coeducativos or storytelling.
"With the older schoolchildren, there are analyzes with a gender perspective of the publicity that children receive from the media," explains the councilor of the area, María Dolores Sánchez
"It is a project that we are very proud of and even the Ministry of Education has as an example of good practice," said the mayor, who attended the opening session of this edition that took place at the school 'Vista Alegre', which recalls that this initiative will pass during the next months by all the Torreños schools.
