"Music is something that people of all ages can enjoy and suppose a very beneficial therapeutic activity," explains Cabrera, who emphasizes that "it improves the mood of the people and helps awaken old memories associated with specific moments of our past".
An activity that also serves to work the memory of the beneficiaries of the service, as it reminds you of songs that you know and are encouraged to sing in groups, thus working cognitive capacities such as memory and language.
"If to this is added that in addition they go out to dance we can say that they also activate and improve the movement and the coordination becoming a therapeutic session", points the councilman.
