Work has already begun on improving the sanitation network in the Los Pulpites neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas.
To this end, the regional government, through the Directorate General for Water, has allocated about 200,000 euros to be used in the renovation and improvement of two collectors: one running along Los Pulpites Avenue and Almería Street, and another for the street Bolivia with the avenue of Los Vicentes.
"They are infrastructures with many years of use that began to give problems and needed a significant rehabilitation", explains the City Maintenance Councilor, Inmaculada Fernández.
"The works have already begun in the first of the collectors, which consist of the installation of PVC pipes with greater capacity," said the mayor, "which will increase the capacity of reception of wastewater in the vicinity of said streets to derive them to the network, that finishes in the purifier of our municipality ".
It is foreseen that the works of these conduits of public elcantarilladoado public take a maximum term of one month, reason why the annoyances for the citizenship will be minimum.
"The second collector, which is a project to be carried out in the near future, is still pending bidding," explains Fernández.
