The House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' of Las Torres de Cotillas will host tomorrow Friday, October 27 (20'30 hours) a new edition of the 'Literary Fridays' organized by the 'Las Torres Literary Association'.
On this occasion the evening will serve as homage to the poet Oriolano Miguel Hernandez on the 75th anniversary of his death and will have the collaboration of the local amateur theater group 'Tejuba'.
With the motto 'Miguel Hernández, companion of the soul, companion' - in clear reference to his' Elegy to Ramón Sijé'-, during this act they will recite poems of the popular author and even some of them will have their musical version.
The attendees will have free admission to this evening in which, as usual, the Department of Culture collaborates.
An intense november
But the cultural events planned in the Torreño area for the next dates do not end here.
On Sunday, October 29 (12 hours) a magic performance will be held by Ruben Ortega, while on Thursday November 2 (20:30 hours) the cycle 'Vente al cine' returns!
with the movie 'Truman', not recommended under 12 years.
"This is a cycle of cinema-colloquium in which after the films we will have the opportunity to share opinions on the issues addressed by each one," says Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera, who explains that the cycle "is coordinated by the Municipal Library 'Rosa Contreras' ".
On Saturday November 11 (21 hours) will be held the closing gala and the awards ceremony of the 'VI Amateur Theater Juan Bath', ceremony during which the group 'Tejuba' will represent the 'Don Juan Tenorio'.
