The program 'Police Tutor' of Las Torres de Cotillas has resumed its activities among the school population of the municipality.
This first performance of the course is being done at the IES 'Salvador Sandoval' and is focused on preventing bullying, the well-known 'bullying'.
To this end, on Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27, talks are being given in various courses of the center explaining the causes, characteristics and consequences of this type of violence in the classroom, offering them tools to detect it, cope with it and even prevent it from childhood.
A problem faced by teachers, students and parents, seeking at all times solutions that from the school and the family allow to face with greater guarantees this shared problem.
This program "Police Tutor", organized by the Department of Police and the Local Police of the municipality, has as its main objective to offer a specialized police response to problems that may have children in school and family, through multidisciplinary solutions.
Next stop: road safety education
Among its upcoming performances the 'Guardian Police' will once again collaborate with the traditional road safety education campaign.
This will count as every year with two parts: a theoretical in the centers themselves and another practice, which will be held in a mobile park with students exercising as drivers on bicycles.
The last quarter of the school year 2015-16 will focus on drug prevention among children and youth in the municipality.
