The local meeting of Las Torres de Cotillas of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) held its traditional coexistence meal for charity on Sunday, November 5th.
"We are very happy because the response, as every year, was exceptional and we touched the crowds, with more than 400 people", explains the president of the Torrena board, Amalia Pérez.
"We had a great time and we are very grateful to all the attendees, because with activities like this we raise funds for our activities that mainly focus on information work for the prevention and early detection of cancer," says Pérez.
The food, which was held in the celebratory room "La Frasquita" (Ceutí), offered a succulent menu to diners and raffles of various donated gifts.
In addition, the City of Las Torres de Cotillas, in the hands of its mayor, Domingo Coronado, handed over the check of the annual subsidy to the entity, amounting to 1,750 euros.
"We also named Antonio Fuentes and Isabel Fernández as honorary partners for the support they give us," explains the president of the Torrena board.
