The local coordination table against gender violence of Las Torres de Cotillas held a meeting on Monday morning, November 13, at the local City Hall to share the work of all the agents involved directly or indirectly in this work in the municipality.
Chaired by the Councilor for Social Services, Equality, Family and Conciliation, María Dolores Sánchez, this working meeting was attended by representatives of the Local Police, the Civil Guard, the Municipal Department of Social Services, the SEF, the Health Center, the SUAP (Primary Care Emergency Service), the technical coordinator of the Department of Equality and CAVI professionals.
"We have discussed the various actions that the City Council is developing to continue fighting against this problem in the municipality, such as the initiatives that take place in educational centers or the various prevention and sensitization talks to other sectors of the population," explains Sánchez.
"It has also been reported activities scheduled for next November 25, among which highlights the 'Third March Against Gender Violence' whose benefits will go to the association BETTO," notes the mayor.
These meetings, which are held every six months, are intended to be an instrument of cooperation and coordination between the various agents involved in this field, in which each professional contributes his experience to optimize the prevention and punishment of this type of violence.
