A representation of the group of the Popular Party of the Regional Assembly, made up of the deputies Víctor Manuel Martínez, Marcos Ortuño, Jesus Cano and Isabel María Soler, held on Thursday November 16 a working meeting with the municipal government team of Las Torres de Cotillas, with its mayor Domingo Coronado at the head.
Among other topics, this meeting discussed the investment of the regional government in the schools of the municipality, which will add more than 2,200.00 euros: the extension of the CEIP 'San José' (2,000,000 euros), the replacement of the cover in the CEIP 'Vista Alegre' (120,000 euros), the preparation of the Children's playground (30,000 euros) and the remodeling of the electrical installation (10,000 euros) of the CEIP 'Vista Alegre', the air conditioning of the CEIP 'Maestro Joaquín Cantero' ( 40,000 euros), and the construction of a dining room in the CEIP 'El Parque' (10,000 euros plus another 12,000 in furniture).
"We also inform them of other projects, such as the roundabout at the exit of La Media Legua, where the Ministry will invest 900,000 euros and that will solve the traffic problems that exist in that area," says Torreño mayor Domingo Coronado.
Other initiatives that were put on the table were the construction of a storm tank (more than 5 million euros), a sewage collector in the area of ​​industrial estates (2 million euros) or new sewage collectors in the Bolivia and Mula streets (441,000 euros).
A for FEADER funds
In addition, the popular deputies of the Torrena candidacy were informed of the support of FEDER funds with the Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI) 'Las Torres Conecta'.
With it will try to get a grant of 5 million euros, together with a municipal contribution of 1,250,000 euros, will be invested in various projects in the municipality.
