The coach of the Brazilian Rugby team, Rodolfo Ambrosio, delivered on Wednesday November 22 (19 hours) a clinic in Las Torres de Cotillas organized by the club 'Rugby Las Torres' and the Department of Physical Activity and Sports.
"Our guest first made a presentation at the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' and then held a more practical class in the municipal field of natural grass with the lower categories of the school in our town," says the councilor of the area, Ginés Pérez, who attended this activity.
Rodolfo Ambrosio was a player of Tala, the first Italian-Argentine player to play for the Italian Rugby team, which allowed him to face New Zealand in the 1987 World Cup.
After his retirement he joined the technical staff of the UAR, exercising different responsibilities there, until being appointed head coach of the national team of Brazil.
"Rugby is a very settled sport in our municipality, we have the magnificent work of 'Rugby Las Torres', especially with the youngest, and we regularly host local and regional championships at our municipal facilities," explains Torreño. .
