Last Friday, November 24, the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna' of Las Torres de Cotillas was once again the setting for the 'Literary Fridays', organized once again by the 'Las Torres Literary Association' in collaboration with the Department of Culture.
The spectators - among whom Torreño mayor Domingo Coronado was - could enjoy reading a selection of poems by classic and contemporary authors of Castilian letters, a journey from the 15th to the 20th century.
"In addition, the actors of the local theater group 'Tejuba' interpreted lyrical passages of the Murcian writer Vicente Medina," points out the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera, who recalls that the culmination of the evening was the Choir and Rondalla of the Home of the People Older of the locality.
To finish the month on Thursday 30 (20'30 hours) there will be another session of the film-colloquium cycle, which on this occasion proposes the film 'The Englishman who climbed a hill, but came down a mountain'.
