'The Englishman who climbed a hill, but went down a mountain'.
That is the title of the next film that the Department of Culture of Las Torres de Cotillas will screen in the framework of the film-colloquium cycle organized in the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna'.
It will be tomorrow, Thursday, November 30 (21 hours) and the spectators will be able to see a funny British comedy based on real events and not recommended for children under 12 years, which directed by Chistopher Monger was released in 1995. A film that tells the story or legend of a people of Wales who join and collaborate to solve the problem created by English cartographers who claim that their mountain, the first mountain in Wales, is actually a hill.
This cycle, which with the title of 'Come to the cinema!'
It is celebrated during the last quarter of this year coordinated by the Municipal Library 'Rosa Contreras', has free admission and takes place every two weeks.
"As every appointment after the screening we will have the opportunity to share our opinions on the issues addressed by the film," says the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Cabrera, who stresses that this cycle is a great opportunity to "enjoy a good time of cinema and from this space to share opinions and learn from others ".

The next and last appointment will be on December 14th with 'Kolya' (1996), a Czech film suitable for all audiences.
So far in this cycle -which has the support of the Regional Library and the collaboration and direction of Joaquín Solera and Ginés Martínez- four other films have been screened: 'El olivo', 'La familia Belier', 'Truman' and ' Elsa and Fred. '
