Athlete Torreño Angel Salinas will be recognized tomorrow Friday December 1 by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU) as the best male veteran athlete of the 2016/17 season.
It will be during the 'VI Gala of Athletics FAMU' to be held in the Restaurant 'El Atardecer' de Alcantarilla, in which one more year the special prizes will be given to the best athletes, clubs, coaches, etc.
as well as the shields of gold and silver.
The achievements in the wide Salinas sports curriculum are many and in the last few days, the ones achieved in national veterans' championships stand out.
On the one hand, the past March was made in the contest of covered track disputed Madrid with a gold in the 400 meters smooth, a silver in the 200 and a bronze in the 60. And, by another, in June it added two silvers (100 and 400 meters) and a bronze (200 meters) in the open-air competition held in Elche
