The Center for Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI) of Las Torres de Cotillas gave last November at the IES 'Salvador Sandoval' in the municipality several talks on prevention and awareness of gender violence.
"They were taught by the psychologist of the center and addressed to the students of 3rd and 4th of ESO, as well as the teachers of the institute", indicates the Councilor for Equality, María Dolores Sánchez, who points out that this initiative coincided with the celebration of the world day against gender violence.
The students also carried out various activities with the aim of condemning and preventing this social scourge.
"They made artistic murals, cards alluding to this problem and elaborated texts", explains the mayor.
It is not the first activity that the CAVI organizes aimed at adolescents in the municipality, since on other occasions it has held talks on the dynamics of relationships, image, social clichés, how affect the new technologies affective relationships, etc.
