A Christmas sky full of color, solidarity, magic and illusion.
That is what the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas has seen on the afternoon of Sunday, December 17, which has celebrated the fourth edition of its 'Launching Solidarity of Flying Lanterns'.
"One more year we have all enjoyed this event, especially the smallest ones, in which we have launched a total of 3,500 lanterns to fill the Christmas Torrena solidarity," explains the councilman of Celebrations, Amalia Perez, whose area has organized the act in the Adolfo Suárez square.
In addition to offering an intimate moment in family this launch sought to raise funds so that no child in the town runs out of toys these holidays.
The day has counted with the collaboration of the women's association 'Isabel González', the Association of Senegalese Women of Las Torres de Cotillas (AMSET) and the 'Las Torres Business Area', and its collection will go to the associations' Sonrisas Solidarias', 'Nueva Vida', 'Cáritas' and' Fedde Fulbe '.
