The City of Las Torres de Cotillas will receive a new grant from the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the regional government to promote employment in the municipality among the group of unemployed.
This time it is an aid of 108,300 euros that will be used for the hiring of a total of six long-term unemployed.
"Before March 31, we will add two cleaners, two painters, a bricklayer and a laborer to the municipal staff thanks to this project," explains Mayor Isabel María Zapata.
To qualify for these positions, the selectable personnel must be included in the joint action program coordinated by the SEF.
This recruitment program is added to others that the Torreño City Council has started up in the municipality for the unemployed group.
"For example, within the National Youth Guarantee System the SEF has awarded us a total of 186,000 euros for two mixed employment and training workshops, one for cleaning in open spaces and industrial facilities and another for street cleaning," says the councilor for Employment, Ángel González, who highlights that these "have allowed the hiring of a total of 22 people who were unemployed."
