The Cabildo Superior de Cofradías of Las Torres de Cotillas has organized a day of coexistence for boys and girls in the Young Artists Center of the town on Sunday morning, January 14.
The 'little' attendees have participated in free recreational activities, whose main objective has been to draw drawings to illustrate the poster announcing the children's procession of Holy Week 2018. "These drawings had the theme of the image of the brotherhood of the Risen Christ and St. Pedro ", explains the president of the Cabildo Torreño, José Sánchez.
"It has been a great morning in which the children have had a great time, demonstrating their talent and imagination", explains the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata, who has visited this activity.
The second edition
This will be the second edition of this procession exclusively for children under 16, which has thrones and representative images of each Brotherhood adapted to the size of the children.
Departing from Church of the Virgen de la Salceda, this parade, in which all the brotherhoods Torrenas participate, will travel the streets Mayor, Mula, Campo, Calvillo and Mayor to return to their point of origin
"We want our young people to be an active part of our Holy Week from children and activities like this one are on the right track," says Sánchez, who recalls that the inaugural edition was a successful participation.
