The renovation works of the sanitation collector in the Los Pulpites neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas have been completed, which improves the wastewater disposal network in the area.
This infrastructure, which runs along the avenue of Los Pulpites and Calle Almería, was visited on Monday morning, January 15, by the Minister of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries, Francisco Jódar, and the Mayoress Torrena Isabel María Zapata. .
"This installation, which had many years and already had problems, has been completely renovated, and its capacity has been increased," says Zapata.
"For this purpose, PVC pipes with a larger diameter have been installed, so that we can receive more wastewater in the vicinity of these streets to derive them to the network, which ends up in the purification plant in our municipality," the mayor explained.
Some works that are framed in the improvement of the sanitation network of the municipality, for which the regional government has allocated about 200,000 euros through the General Directorate of Water.
These will be completed with those that will be carried out soon to renew the collector that runs along the Bolivian street with Los Vicentes avenue.
