The hiking association "Los Peregrinos" of Las Torres de Cotillas has published a book that tells how its members covered the Camino de la Cruz de Caravaca last year.
Written by Joaquín Peñalver and with photographs by Ginés Pérez, this small work tells the different stages with which the Torreño walkers culminated between the 5 of February and the 9 of April the route of 120 kilometers that lie between the beginning of the road, Orihuela, and the end: the Sanctuary of the True Cross.
"This association is a collective that brings together people of all ages and conditions, very active and energetic, which runs through the whole of Murcia with its activities and even goes beyond our borders," said Mayor Isabel María Zapata, who, along with the General Director of Youth, Fran Sánchez, met on Thursday January 25 this work.
This association, with about nine years of existence, makes periodic departures both by routes Murcia and bordering areas.
From the Camino de Santiago to routes through the mountains of Murcia and Andalusia is the rich and intense balance offered by this collective integrated to date by more than sixty neighbors of all types and ages of Las Torres de Cotillas.
